Dr. Hope grew up in a rural area just outside Winston Salem, North Carolina. Growing up, she spent a lot of time with her grandparents and even opened a roadside vegetable stand with her grandpa when she was 12 years old. Dr. Hope quickly learned that she had a passion for working with adult and geriatric populations. This was also the beginning of invaluable lessons of customer service and relationship building that taught her communication skills that she still uses today. She was fortunate to go with her grandma when she got her first hearing aids and her grandma remarked that she had forgotten that clocks tick when she came home that day. Dr. Hope was hooked! She knew that her passion for geriatrics and care for others was a perfect match for audiology.
